Sentence openers for English Language Paper 1 Question 2

In the AQA English Language Papers you are asked to analyse a piece of text. You will get some credit for recognising the different techniques, but you will get more marks for: "analysing the effects of the writer’s choices of language • Selecting a range of thoughtfully written vocabulary • Making a sophisticated and accurate use of subject terminology."
