Have you been told to get a proper job?
You started tutoring, not to get rich quick but because you genuinely care. You know that what you are offering is needed but you seem to be running around chasing your tail…
I’ve been there. I lost count of how many times people, who I knew meant the best for me suggested I gave it up and got a “proper” job.
When I started, I had a background in education (my particular interest was special needs and early years) but I had no real experience in running a business.
But over the years I learned, read, made mistakes and learned from them.
I’ve had highs and deep lows. Some nights I’ve cried myself to sleep.
I don’t know whether it was stubbornness, pride or self-belief but I stuck it out and now I have a tutoring business I am so proud of.
If I can do it, I know that you can do it to.
It takes hard work, and it takes commitment. But I think you know that.
What help do you need to get your business moving?
- Would bespoke, one to one training help? No one to judge, just the two of us sat down for 2.5 days looking at your business.
- Could fortnightly mentoring and accountability calls give you the ongoing support needed?
- The bimonthly magazine that will be delivered in the post will provide you with suggested resources as well as examples of what other tutors have done and books that will help you to grow your business.
- Do you have a brand and a USP (unique selling point) for your business? These are critical in getting established and standing out. Being associated with an establish business with a great reputation could also help you to boost your business. The Clara James Tutoring branding is something we are incredibly proud of and we are not willing to offer this to just anybody, so we need to be confident in those we offer it to. We don’t want someone to ruin both our reputations by misrepresenting the company.
If this is the year that you want to take your tutoring business to the next level, get in touch and we can have a chat to make sure we are a suitable fit.
If I can do it, you can do it to.
